There is nothing worse than just missing the ferry...other than being to the ferry terminal on time only to find that the ferry is delayed for some reason. It might be a mechanical issue, police activity, weather issue, or something else. I highly recommend you sign up for a ferry alert, which will send you e-mail warnings of pending delays or other issues related to ferry service. It can save you wasted time waiting for the next ferry to come in.
